Pneumatic overhead valve dosing screw for precise dosing of powders
For accurate dosing without leakage, a pneumatically operated head valve is a highly effective application. By equipping the screw with bearings on one side only, it becomes possible to create an axial outlet where a valve can pneumatically shut off the outlet. A head valve screw can be supplied with ATEX certification and can be finished at various levels.
Furthermore, the use of a head valve in an overpressure or under pressure situation is not uncommon. The Head valve can be custom-made in several types of materials. Diameters ranging from Ø50 to Ø485 are available with capacities from 0 to 20000 liters per hour.
