The patented FLEXAL® system is made of cross-belt tensile straps which absorb the impact and weight of heavy conveyed products.
The number of straps can be customised to the application. They are supported by a robust metal framework. The framework is adjustable in all three dimensions so the system can be adjusted to every trough angle, from 20° to 70°.
Each strap is fitted with sliding pads made of very high molecular weight HDPE. They are easily replaced and the quantity of pads can be customised to each unique application.
The pads allow for maximal elongation of the system. The belt is in contact with a large number of these pads, distributing tension and friction across the entire system.
This keeps the overall pressure in the system low, which in turn means:
• minimal wear and therefore long pad lifespan
• negligible motor power loss
