Our BHT dosing systems operate using the loss-in-weight principle. This is the continuous measurement of decrease in weight per unit of time. The current weight is compared calibrated set-point and the dosing mechanism adjusts accordingly.
The dosing mechanism can be a strap, a screw, a vibrating chute, or in the case of a liquid, a pump.
When the product in the supply hopper reaches a minimum level it is automatically topped up. The dosage can be held at its last value during the refilling process.
