Bearing units – Solids Rotterdam

Description

A bearing unit, also called bearings housing, consists of a housing made of plastic, cast iron, stainless steel or sheet steel. A rolling bearing is fitted into this housing. Bearing units are available in several variants, namely: round, square, triangular or oval with 2 or more mounting holes. The bearing in the housing, also called the insert, can be made of either steel or stainless steel. The bearing housings are fitted with a lubrication hole including a lubrication nipple, except for the steel plated housings which don’t have a nipple.

In addition to brands such as SKF, INA, NTN, SNR, PTI, FK and cheaper alternatives, Q-Bearings also supplies bearing units from its own brand QBS. These are available in two different categories, namely Standard bearing units and bearing units with solid base, steel shielded or P6/V2 quality insert.
