New at TAMAR: Simplified and Cost-Efficient Seals for Various Applications

TAMAR, a leader in sealing technology, proudly unveils its latest innovation: simplified and cost-effective seals designed to replace adjustable packing pushers and other shaft seals.

These advanced seals are equipped with the unique TAMAR booster system and a paste of flexible gasket material, both offering a range of remarkable advantages:

Compact Design: Thanks to their small footprint, our seals can be integrated virtually anywhere.

CEMA Certified: TAMAR seals comply with CEMA Standard 300-021 and 300-022 for components.

Flexible Gasket Material: The seals come with their own stock container containing various gasket materials, ranging from graphite to synthetic fibers and PTFE FDA-compliant materials.

Energy-Efficient: Our seals require minimal to no compressed air consumption, resulting in significant energy savings.

Durability: Manufactured from high-quality materials, including 1020 cast steel, stainless steel 316, or Hastelloy, these seals ensure a long service life.

Low Consumption
The TAMAR sealing system is automatically replenished from an external reservoir, pressurized by a piston with compressed air. This system eliminates compressed air consumption and includes a visual indication of the remaining flexible gasket material stock. With timely alerts, this provides the opportunity to refill the reservoir without machine downtime. In general, a single filling can last at least six to nine months. Major maintenance is only required after two to three years, where wear cords and wear tubes may need replacement, although in some cases, these components can last an additional two years.
