As an international field engineer, you are responsible for the installation and commissioning of our palletizing machines at locations worldwide. You will be traveling 50% of your time, this can be national, European or international. Outside of travel, you will work at our head office in Emmeloord, in the role of mechatronics technician, after-sales technician or you will provide technical support to our customers from the office. The product developments, growth ambitions and the drive for continuous improvement ensure that you will find yourself in a dynamic working environment.
Tasks and responsibilities
– Taking charge during the installation of our machines.
– Performing functional tests with the customer product.
– Training the operator(s).
– Monitoring the conditions under which the order has been sold.
– Using commercial skills to bring opportunities to the attention of the customer.
Your profile
As an international field engineer, you always aim for an excellent (stacking) result and you have good communication skills. You know how to come up with creative solutions when the situation requires it and you continuously strive for a win-win situation. In addition, you have:
A diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
Affinity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Good command of the English language.
Familiarity with machine controls is a plus, we work with Beckhoff (IPC/PLC), Exor (HMI) and SEW frequency controllers.
