What You’ll Do
• Grow New Markets: Identify and develop opportunities in untapped regions and industries.
• Be a Trusted Partner: Understand customer needs and deliver tailored, high-value solutions
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Sales Engineers, Product Line Leaders, and Aftermarket Services to ensure seamless execution.
• Represent Symach Globally: Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events as a brand ambassador.
• Customer Contact & Relationship Management: Serve as the point of contact for (potential) customers seeking to optimize their processes with a palletizer or bagging machine, or for existing customers looking to upgrade or expand their operations.
• Acquisition & Business Development: Manage commercial projects, starting with manageable ones and gradually taking on more complex transactions. Actively contribute to attracting new businesses aligned with our commercial strategy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with colleagues and upstream/downstream partners supporting our customer ecosystem.
• Market Analysis: Identify trends in the agricultural, pet food, animal feed, and packaging machinery sectors in collaboration with Business Intelligence and Marketing, and translate them into new project opportunities.
• Administration and Process Management: Record customer interactions, agreements, and reports in our CRM system to ensure efficient and structured commercial processes.
What You Bring
• A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of international B2B sales experience—ideally in industrial automation or packaging, or with a background in animal feed, petfood or agro
• A consultative sales style and a passion for solving real-world challenges.
• Fluency in English and Dutch (additional languages like German, French and/or Spanish are a major plus).
• Experience with CRM and ERP tools (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Ridder IQ).
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
