What do you do as an operational buyer at Tallpack?
As an Operational Buyer at Tallpack, you work in a varied environment: from the office to supplier visits and trade fairs. You start the day by developing purchase prices and possibly negotiating with suppliers. You ensure that stock is maintained by placing orders, taking into account stock levels, raw material prices and delivery times. In between, you answer questions from account managers and ensure that customers always have sufficient packaging material, even for urgent orders. You have excellent relationships with suppliers, which ensures fast deliveries. After a busy morning, you consult with the warehouse manager about the received and expected stock.

In the afternoon, you visit a trade fair to increase your knowledge of new products and market developments. You work together with IT projects to develop a smarter system for better insights. You think about the impact of AI on monthly analyses of market conditions and how you can proactively respond to changes. After the trade fair, you call a colleague to share your enthusiasm and discuss new insights.

What do you bring?
Completed NEVI training, experience or affinity with a technical organization or the packaging industry, fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus).

What do we offer?
A varied position with responsibility, development and training opportunities within your field, career opportunities and 40 hours per week with flexible working hours
