Founded in 1978, the Italian company PAL has been market leader for almost 40 years in wood preparation and cleaning for the production of wood based products. Relying on its experience (mainly on screening and cleaning material), on a highly-skilled, in-house technical team and a staff of more than 140 employees, PAL is able to supply engineering and machinery for the construction of complete plants tailored to suit Client’s requirements.
One of the keys to the PAL’s success is the major investments made in R&D. Green Division is a PAL department specifically created for the production and development of technologies dedicated to the environmental sector as bulky materials, handling and raw material management, energy explotation of biomasses for the energy production (for thermal and biological processes), high quality RDF Production (waste fuel), also for specific uses (cement factory, thermal power plants, grated and fluized bed furnaces), materials recycling and compost production
The circular economy model requires to pay more attention to preventing waste production improving the duration, reparability and re-use of products. As recycling increases, the market outlet of secondary raw materials will also need to be increased.
